Preface

This book is the story of the life of one of the happiest boys we ever knew. He fairly bnbbled over with fun ; but it was the right kind of fun, for it was joined with purity of heart, earnestness of purpose, willingness to do hard work, and Christian faith. What " good times " he had the following pages will show. May they also show their young readers that nobility of character and faithfulness in the discharge of duty may go hand in hand with a happy life.
